2019 Rosé, Fore Family Vineyard
This wine welcomes you with an eye-catching, light blush-pink color to the rim, with rose gold hues. The blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache make this wine one of both complexity and approachability. The delicate nose mixes floral notes of rose petal and lavender with notes of orange, pomegranate, peach, raspberry and hints strawberry shortcake. The palate is seamless, mixing watermelon and raspberry for a delicate creaminess that is a true reflection of a Rhone-style Rosé.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The 16-acre Fore Family Vineyard is one of the highest-elevation vineyards in Lake County’s Red Hills AVA, at 3,000 feet. The dramatic, high-elevation volcanic hillsides of this region produce intense mountain fruit with great color and structure. The higher elevation and Lake County’s pure air allow for greater levels of UV light. This UV triggers thicker grape skins, greater tannins and intense wines with high phenolic content.
