Tamber Bey's original Signature Collection wine, first released in 2002. This Cabernet Sauvignon from our Estate Vineyard exemplifies the integrity and attributes of the Oakville Appellation.  This wine shows before it tells, with a dark garnet hue that extends to the rim of the glass. The nose delivers additional aromas of baking spice, mushroom and a hint of dry earth layered with notes of vanilla, molasses, cigar box, leather and cedar. The flavor profile makes its introduction with dark cherry, high-acid red and black fruits, herbaceous notes and a hint of licorice, tobacco and spice. The Merlot contributes fleshy and primary fruit characteristics, and smooths out the tannins. The Petit Verdot adds concentration and weight to the wine. The tannins are approachable and the finish is bright.
