2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, Deux Chevaux Vineyard 375ml
James Suckling – 92 Points
Aromas of chocolate sundae and ripe fruit follow through to a full body, round tannins and a juicy finish. Give it time to come together. Drink in 2019.
Winemaker Notes
The initial aromas are meaty, and then they unfold to reveal crème de cassis and flourless chocolate cake, with a hint of matchstick and flint. The mouthfeel is round, with flavors of cheery pie and vanilla. The finish delivers firm, classic, Cabernet Sauvignon tannins.
