Three Steeds

Three Steeds is Tamber Bey's second label. The first vintage was the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc and 2013 Red Stable Wine. We've decided to make Three Steeds a permanent part of the Tamber Bey wine collection. The painting on the label was commissioned by Barry Waitte in 2000. It represents his first three Arabian horses: Bayamo, Tamborina and Kann Sam Count. The original painting by Katie Upton of Santa Barbara, California, hangs in the Tamber Bey tasting room at the Sundance Ranch in Calistoga.

Three Steeds is back! The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon delivers initial aromas of cocoa powder and vanilla, with a subtle, crushed-rock nuance. Plush fruitiness and full-bodied on the palate, with flavors of red stone fruit and vanilla extract. Velvety smooth tannins integrate into a classic style on the finish. Aged 19 months in 100% French oak barrels.
